Embroidery Art Requirements

To embroider designs, Harrielle will digitize customer provided artwork in the following formats:

1. Hard copy printed on paper not larger than 8.5” x 11”.
2. Any form of electronic file, including but not limited to: .eps, .cdr, .PDF, .bmp, .tif, .jpg.

For customer supplied disks, Tajima, Barudan FDR and Barudan FMC formats are acceptable. Basic changes to layout can be made (i.e. delete or add a section, reorder sections and resize up to 10%). However, more than 10 percent resizing will require a new disk as there may be an increase or decrease in the thread thickness of specific sections of the design.

Note: Customer supplied disks created for specific colors or fabrics may not be compatible when the same design is used on another product (i.e., previously used design for golf shirts may not sew well on fleece). A design modification will be required. Charges may apply.

A picture of a sewn sample in the correct embroidery colors on a similar or matching fabric is supplied for approval before production begins.
